Client: Symal
Client:
Symal is one of Australia’s largest self-performing construction companies with a track record of end-to-end delivery excellence on complex projects across the country. Symal has 1,100 + workforce and is growing rapidly nationwide.
Challenge:
Provide participants with the practical knowledge to help recognise discrimination, harassment and bullying in the workplace.
As one of the leading suppliers in the construction industry, The Learning Circle worked with Symal to provide our Discrimination, Harassment and Bullying program.
Designed to raise awareness of discrimination, harassment and bullying in the workplace, this workshop provides participants with an understanding of legislation, compliance and organisational policy and procedures.
Solution:
In this 2-hour session, participants explored key topics related to workplace conduct, focusing on recognising and defining discrimination, harassment, and bullying. They engaged in self-assessment exercises to evaluate their own actions and inactions
concerning these issues. The program also covered the company’s legal and organisational stance on discrimination, harassment, and bullying and offered practical guidance on developing effective prevention strategies to foster a respectful and inclusive work environment.
