The Learning Circle offers a multi-angled parental leave program which consists of three programs and workshops. These offerings have been developed to guide your team members on how to prepare and approach parental leave, how to transition back to the office, as well as covering manager engagement.
Modules
This program is designed to help employees plan for impending parental leave as well as their return. This workshop provides participants with practical considerations such as financial and organisational implications, preparing for conversations regarding leave arrangements, transitioning back to the office, and planning for work-home life balance upon return.
The “I’m Back Workshop” is designed to assist and provide additional support to employees who have recently returned to work and are combining work and family life. The session includes discussing challenges that they may face relating to work-life balance, career progression, as well as strategies for overcoming common challenges and obstacles when returning to work with network and community support.
This workshop is designed to prepare leaders and managers to support staff through the changes and challenges that come with parental leave. During this session, participants will learn how best to support employees when taking parental leave, how to overcome challenges and best practice for engagement, staying in touch, and the expectations of managerial support during the transition back to work.
