The Learning Circle is deeply passionate about helping people to learn and grow, delivering high- energy, impactful leadership programs that build the capability of leaders across organisations. 


Our Leadership Fundamentals program is designed for frontline or new leaders, who need to develop the fundamentals of leadership. Each leadership module incorporates a strong experiential focus followed by structured learning activities to truly embed the transfer of learning.

Module 1: Leadership Fundamentals
This workshop helps leaders identify how to enhance their performance through developing a greater understanding of how they manage and lead themselves and those around them.

  • Whoness Versus Whatness
  • Building Emotionally Intelligent Leaders 
Module 2: Motivation, Engagement and Manager Operating Rhythm
This workshop helps leaders to establish an effective Manager Operating Rhythm and builds awareness of what motivates and demotivates their people, exploring behaviours and ways of working that help foster engagement and higher performance.

  • Autonomy, mastery and purpose
  • Career and development conversations 
Module 3: The Power of Feedback
This workshop helps leaders to build their skill and confidence to deliver performance feedback and handle difficult conversations.

This workshop covers:

  • The Power of Feedback
  • Building a culture of feedback – Radical Candor
  • Diagnosing and managing performance and behavioural issues
  • Practical Application for leaders – preparing for and delivering feedback conversations 
Module 4: High Performing Teams
This module helps leaders to practically plan for creating high performance across their teams and identify areas of strength to leverage and opportunities for development.

This workshop covers:

  • Deep dive and practical application of the functions of Patrick Lencioni’s High Performing
  • Teams Model – Trust, Conflict, Commitment, Accountability and Results
  • Identifying the elements of an Ideal Team Player 
Module 5: Build Personal Resilience
This workshop supports participants to build practical strategies to build their personal resilience and thrive in an ever-changing business landscape.

This workshop covers:

  • The importance of developing personal resilience
  • Best practice strategies to build resilience:
  • Throughout this workshop, participants build an action plan with practical strategies to build resilience based on the 4R model.
