• Listen to the criticism
• Always assume that they are doing it for good intentions
• Be sure to not get defensive in the situation that you are put in
• Don’t take what they are saying personally
• Take the criticism and see how it can help you in the long run
• Don’t be hard on yourself for what was said
• Say thank you and learn from it
